CCUS Poland is a cross-sector association supporting the development of carbon capture, utilisation and storage technologies in Poland. Established in 2024 on the initiative of the AGH University of Science and Technology’s Centre of Energy, it brings together industry, research institutions, public-sector stakeholders and civil-society organisations.
CCUS Poland advocates for the technical, regulatory, financial and social conditions needed to establish a sustainable national CCUS value chain, covering CO₂ capture, transport, utilisation and permanent storage. Its work includes providing expert input on legislation and policy, promoting systemic solutions such as CO₂ infrastructure and Baltic Sea storage, facilitating knowledge exchange, and building public understanding and acceptance. By connecting stakeholders across the economy, the association seeks to make CCUS a practical tool for industrial decarbonisation, economic competitiveness and Poland’s wider climate transition.
