In Europe, carbon capture and storage has emerged as a critical component of the region's strategy to combat climate change and achieve ambitious emissions reduction goals. With a commitment to transitioning towards a low-carbon economy, European countries are actively exploring and implementing CCS technologies to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from industrial processes and power generation.
