On 15 July, CCS Europe, alongside 24 industry, research and civil society organisation, has sent a joint letter to Contracting Parties to the Helsinki Convention and HELCOM to explore practical legal mechanisms that enable environmentally safe geological CO₂ storage in the Baltic Sea, while remaining fully consistent with the Convention's environmental objectives.
