Ammonia Europe is an association representing the European ammonia industry and its value chain. It brings together ammonia producers, technology providers, logistics and infrastructure companies, and end users, including firms active in fertilisers, chemicals, energy and maritime transport. Its goal is a decarbonised ammonia industry and wider uptake of clean ammonia across Europe’s climate-neutral and resilient economy.

Ammonia Europe advocates for the policy, technical and safety conditions needed to scale renewable and low-carbon ammonia. It positions ammonia both as an essential feedstock for food and industrial value chains and as a potential energy carrier, hydrogen transport medium and clean marine fuel. The association seeks to support investment, reliable sustainability standards and a competitive European ammonia sector.
